Checking in...

I'm alive! For the most part. Don't ask.

Just signing on in a pretty charming cybercafe in Madison, WI.

So...have I missed anything interesting?

I don't think so. There's a lot of snow in New York.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-15 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I've been seeing that on the news! Incredible!

'Course, here it's absolutely freezing and there's snow and... I should have done this road trip thing in the summer.

[identity profile] ynez-castillo.livejournal.com 2006-02-15 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe so. Or at least stayed south.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-15 06:34 pm (UTC)(link)
True. Hurricane season is over so that might have been a safe bet.

[identity profile] ynez-castillo.livejournal.com 2006-02-15 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
But there you are in Wisconsin, instead. You could get cheese, maybe.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-16 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Mmmmmmmm...cheese...

If I head back to the town that had that cracker museum, I could have a real treat on my hands!

[identity profile] ynez-castillo.livejournal.com 2006-02-16 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

Is there really a cracker museum?

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-16 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
*grins*

There is! In this tiny town called Dubeck. The history of the cracker, crackers shaped like famous things or people. Actually pretty interesting.

[identity profile] ynez-castillo.livejournal.com 2006-02-16 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
How funny! Now I want to see the cracker museum! What people were made into crackers, do you know?

I think there has to be an Abraham Lincolm cracker. There must be.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-17 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
I do believe they had a Hall of Presidents. They even had a cute little miniature village made out of crackers.

[identity profile] ynez-castillo.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
You're making that up. Are you making that up? That's hilarious. What abut holiday-themed cracker displays?

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-17 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
I swear, I'm not making this up.* They did have displays for different products that were put out for various holidays, yes.

*ooc: However the mun is just in case there really is a cracker museum somewhere. :-D

[identity profile] ynez-castillo.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
I was thinking more along the lines of a little nativity scene made of Triscuits.

ooc: I won't tell. It's plausible.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-16 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

Hey, you! How's it going? Where've you been?

[identity profile] prettysavvygirl.livejournal.com 2006-02-16 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
Oh you know, I've been around. I have a new power, and OMG, it's so totally cool, like whoa! So, what's up with you, stranger? I miss ya, cutie-pie. *giggles*

ooc: *GLOMP* I miss you!

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-16 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, not a whole lot to tell you from this end. I left New York so I could stretch my legs a little, but that's about it.

*grins*

You've got to tell me about this new power. Oh, and miss you, too! Where are you now?

ooc: Me too! :-D Good to see you back!

[identity profile] prettysavvygirl.livejournal.com 2006-02-18 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
You should come to California! That would absolutely rock my toesocks. Or, I could magically come to you. I could totally use the practice.

Oh, so like, my new power? Totally kicks ass! It's like projection. Yeah. Like, I look at something and turn it into whatever I want. Sort of. Like, my parents totally came to visit, and they were being all sorts of moody and not talking about my sister... so I got pissed and called them cold-hearted assassins. And? They turned into cold-hearted assassins. Like Mr.&Mrs. Smith. Crazy. And then like I met this random Chinese man, Lo Pan, who was totally awesome and let me practice my power. He like made me stare at this dead tree and turn in into a living one again. And then. OMG, here's the best part! Lo Pan told me I could see whatever I wanted to see, but I just had to focus. And like, he said I could find my sister. So, I focused which totally hurt, and I like went back in time sort of. I saw my sister and talked to her; I found this necklace and stuff. Crazy.

I'm still in San Fransisco. College, ya know. But, I could totally use a break.

ooc: heehee. good to be back. ^^ so how's your stuff going? everything good for your pups or still dealing with drama like whoa? I'll be on AIM for a bit tonite if ya need me. ^_^

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-18 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my god, that all sounds incredible. So....does this mean you could look at some random girl and turn her into my favorite playmate?

Yeah, I definitely have to visit.

*grins*

Seriously, that's awesome, Billie. You might want to wait until I'm somewhere warmer before coming to see me, though. I'm totally up for a trip to Cali, too, you know.

[identity profile] prettysavvygirl.livejournal.com 2006-02-19 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Um. Probably. But like, I'm totally cute so how could you possibly think about some random playmate when you're talking to me? Yep, totally mean, apologize, plzthx. =P

Totally.

*giggle*

I could like make it warm. I think. I don't know what limitation my power has...

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_valentino_/ 2006-02-19 10:44 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, wow, I'm sorry, Billie. How could I possibly say something like that to a hottie such as yourself? Forgive?
